Hi, I’m Tari Eagan. My husband, Gary and I are founders and owners of North To Alaska Gourmet Foods and Gifts, located at 634 Broadway in historic Skagway, Alaska, and NorthToAlaskaGifts.com, your online resource for these same gifts.
With both of us being third generation Alaskans, I guess it’s natural for us to love Alaska and want to share its beauty with others. During the summer months, you will find us in Skagway, having the opportunity to meet with visitors from all over in our downtown store. During the winter months we spend our time in Skagway preparing and getting ready for the next tourist season. We enjoy the winter months spending time with friends, cross country skiing, relaxing and just enjoying the peace and quite that Skagway has to offer in the off season.
Our favorite part of our business is having the opportunity to share our wonderful bounty of Alaskan Artists and Craftsmen. In addition to items made by Alaskan artists from all over Alaska, you will also find stationery with prints of original pieces of art painted by Alaskan artists; vacuum-packed or canned salmon caught right off our shores, and jellies and jams, made from fresh-picked berries from our Tongass National Forest.
